- How many weeks holidays do you want to take?
- Will you want your children to work in the business?
No longer happy to work for someone else nine to five? Long commutes, even longer working hours, lack of family time, diminishing pensions and most important of all, non-rewarding jobs are just some of the reasons why many people decide to open their own businesses. You might also be attracted by the relatively reasonable start-up costs, the ability to create something unique and independent that opening your own café would offer you.
Most people who decide to open their own café have little understanding of how the entire business works and the average café owner remortgages their house based on nothing more than a dream and a hope that they will learn “on the job”. After all, how hard can it be right?
